Cafe BeanGoose can be found in one of the oldest houses in Holy Island village, Selby House. It is in a central village location, next to Lindisfarne Priory. Guests can enjoy sea views to the front of the house and the privacy of our beautiful sunny garden, full of birds and flowers.

The B&B and Self-Catering Cottages are run by Lesley and Roger Andrews. The accommodation above the café boasts a large family room overlooking Holy Island village square with views across the sea to the Farne Islands, and a lovely twin room overlooking our beautiful garden. In our adjoining building, The Stable annexe, there is a large double ensuite bedroom overlooking the garden and a double bedroom with views across the Market Square to Holy Island harbour. The Stable has its own private garden and its own cosy sitting room. Please see the "Accommodation" page for further details.

We are an environmentally friendly establishment, currently awaiting grading by the Green Tourism Business Scheme. Our food is home made using organic, fair trade and locally produced ingredients. Our bedlinen is made from organically grown cotton. The water is heated by solar thermal panels and we use cleaning materials that don't harm our environment.

Cafe BeanGoose B&B was recommended in The Guardian newspaper by travel writer Dixe Wills when, during August, he set off from Holy Island to walk the St Oswald's Way: "....my room [Farne View] had one of the largest beds on whose organic cotton sheets I've ever had the privilege of sprawling, and the view somehow crammed in both the attractive village square and the distant Farne Islands."

We are sorry we can not accommodate pets in our B&B rooms.
